What are your COVID-19 Restrictions?
Effective February 28, 2022, the mask mandate by the State of Illinois and the mask/vaccine mandate for indoor dining for the City of Chicago have been lifted for events. Masks are recommended, but optional, for attendees while visiting Arie Crown Theater.
The number one priority of the Metropolitan Pier and Exposition (MPEA) & Arie Crown Theater has always been, and continues to be, the health and safety of our employees and clients. Throughout the COVID-19 crisis, we have worked closely with public health officials and followed all guidance regarding meetings and events. We are actively implementing and updating our practices in accordance with federal, state, and local government recommendations.

Who was Arie Crown?
Arie Crown was a Lithuanian immigrant who became an American success story. He arrived in Chicago in 1875 at 15 years old and would eventually become one of Chicago’s most successful businessmen and the patriarch of a prominent family.
Are there any discounted tickets available for students / seniors / military?
Each show sets their own discounts and prices. Please call us at (312) 791-6900 to inquire about any discounts.
How can I buy tickets to an Arie Crown event?
Patrons can purchase tickets in advance at the Wintrust Arena Box Office located at 200 East Cermak Road. If there are tickets still available, you may purchase tickets at the Arie Crown Box Office on the day of the event. I ordered tickets on-line. Where is the will-call window?
You may pick up any tickets held for will-call at any of the Arie Crown Theater Box Office windows located just outside of the theater by Gate 31 of the Lakeside Center. Tickets are available for will-call pick up on the day of the event.
Do I have to pay any Service Charges or Convenience fees if I buy tickets at the Box Office?
No. There is a small per ticket Facility Fee when buying tickets in person at the Box Office. Taxes are included in the ticket price. Ticketmaster Service Charges and Convenience Fees apply only to those purchasing tickets online at www.Ticketmaster.com.
What is your smoking policy?
In accordance with the City of Chicago and the Smoke-Free Illinois Act, smoking is prohibited inside Wintrust Arena and Arie Crown Theater. (This includes all smoking tobacco, marijuana, e-cigarettes and vaporizers). Violators of this policy may be ejected from the venue.
Are there any package programs, like Show Tickets, Dining and Hotel Rooms available?
The Arie Crown Theater does not currently offer dinner or hotel room packages. The Hyatt Regency McCormick Place (312) 567-1234 will offer a New Year’s Eve package.
Where can I park? What does parking cost?

What if I or a family member experience sensory difficulties while at the Arie Crown Theater?
KultureCity has partnered with Arie Crown Theater to make the Arie Crown Theater and all of its hosted programs and events sensory inclusive. This new initiative will promote an accommodating and positive experience for all guests with a sensory issue that visits the Arie Crown Theater. Prior to attending an event, families can download the free KultureCity App where one can view what sensory features are available and where they can access them. Also, on the App is the Social Story, which will provide a preview of what to expect while enjoying an event at the Arie Crown Theater.
Sensory items available to you or a family member include headphones, fidget mesh, fidget ball, feeling thermometer, and KCVIP lanyard. The lanyard will help our staff better identify and entertain guests with sensory needs. If you, or a family member, have sensory sensitivity needs, please visit with one of our theater staff members. It will be our pleasure to assist you.
Is seating available for those with mobility impairments?
Accessible or ADA seating is located in Row Q or Row LL on the main floor and is available to purchase online at Ticketmaster.com, indicated by the ADA wheelchair symbol or in person at the Wintrust Arena Box Office. When purchasing tickets, please mention to the ticket agent that a member of your party is mobility impaired. If there are no ADA seats available for your preferred performance, please contact the Box Office at (312) 791-6900 or send us a message at boxoffice@wintrustarena.com to see if we are able to accommodate your needs.
Are animals allowed in the Arie Crown Theater?
Animals are not allowed in the Arie Crown Theater with the exception of Certified Service Animals.
What about patrons with hearing impairments?
Unless otherwise stated, performances are not usually signed for the hearing impaired. The theater does have infrared headsets available to hearing-impaired patrons at no cost. Ask an usher or House Manager for a headset when you arrive at the theater.
I am a family member / friend / classmate / big fan of a performer. How can I meet them when they are here for the show?
Normally, you cannot visit an artist backstage during their time at the Arie Crown. If you have a method to contact the artist directly, it is suggested you get in touch with them and arrange to meet them after the performance as their schedule may allow.
